Sound journeys Positive Lights Project- St Sidwell Street, Exeter. 28th November, 6.30 to 7.30 £12 Maybe you've been holding a lot lately. Maybe you're just curious. Either way, are you ready to put down whatever you've been carrying, even for an hour? Slow, steady sound gives your body something to follow. Breathing slows. Muscles soften. Your nervous system gets the message that it's safe to stand down. That's what a sound journey is for. You lie down. I play the bowls, the drum and the bells. The sound does the work, so you don't have to. If you cry, that's welcome. If you drift off to sleep, that's welcome. If you feel nothing at all, that's welcome too. No experience needed. No right way. Come as you are, whatever that looks like tonight. Please bring with you a pillow and a yoga mate, water and a blanket to keep you warm. Laura is a qualified Drum therapist, Reiki sound practitioner and Reiki Drum Practitioner- qualifier in Rhythm and Sound 0-99. Sound, Reiki & Somatic Practices • Not suitable for those in the first trimester of pregnancy. • Not suitable for individuals with epilepsy, seizures, labyrinthitis, Meniere’s disease, pacemakers, or metal implants. Sound can effect the heart beat please let me know if you have a heart condition or heart disease • Not suitable for those with hearing conditions such as tinnitus or sound hypersensitivity. • May not be suitable for individuals with a history of schizophrenia, severe emotional disorders, hallucinations, or psychosis within the past 2 years. • Please avoid recreational drugs for 72 hours and alcohol for 24 hours before the session (prescribed medication is fine).
